Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly in the app. Open ShelfScout, go to the Profile tab, expand Account & Settings, and tap "Delete Account."
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the ShelfScout app
- Tap the Profile tab (bottom right)
- Expand the Account & Settings section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion in the dialog
What Happens When You Delete
- Your email, password, zip code, and personal information are permanently removed
- Your watchlist, points, and achievements are deleted
- Your referral code is deactivated
- Your push notification token is deactivated
- Price scans you submitted are kept in anonymized form to preserve community data — they are no longer linked to your identity
This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your data, points, or achievements.
Can't Access the App?
If you can't log in or access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@shelfscout.us from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
